Snack Time!
The baby goats are growing up! They are in the barn now and they’re beginning to graze more. But they still need their bottles. At 1:30 every day, we’re giving the baby goat herd a snack and you can help feed them!
If you or your group want to help feed the baby goats, here are the procedures:
Feeding a large herd of goats in the middle of a drought season is expensive. So we are requesting $5 per person for feeding the goats to help defray herd expenses. For this investment, each person will get to bottle feed a baby goat, learn more about goats, spend time with the goats and help pay for future food needs of the goat herd at Jellystone.
Weekend feedings are reserved for campers at Jellystone. If you are camping here, stop by the ranger station to sign up for bottle feeding. Remember, it’s first come, first served.
If you want to feed the babies on Monday – Friday, just call the office at 303-681-3169 to pay for and reserve your spot!
