May 10-12 Spoil Ma at the Spa / Mother’s Day Weekend
How many ways can you say “We love mom”? Make her a craft or paint a ceramic, decorate a cupcake, treat her to a massage (without leaving the campground!) and much more! Breakfast in bed is just the start! (and in case mom would rather get out of bed, bring her to our pancake wagon for free pancakes on Sunday!)
May 17-19 Jellystone Goes to the Goats Weekend
Baby goats are due in April . . . and they’ll be taking over when they arrive! You may even get to help us bottle feed our newest furry friends! Make a goat-friendly treat at craft time and then go visit the goats and watch it disappear! Try your hand at goat trivia or “Name that Goat!!”
May 24-27 Kites and Flights / Memorial Day Weekend
Kick off a fabulous summer with a long weekend at Jellystone! Decorate a paper rocket and launch it, make a kite and fly it, participate in our paper airplane contest and earn prizes for the farthest flight. Keep your eye on the sky, we’ll be launching model rockets also! Don’t forget your swimsuit, the pool opens for the summer!
May 31-June 2 Chocolate Overload Weekend
Is there such a thing as too much chocolate?, we don’t think so!! Come indulge in a delectable weekend and see how many ways chocolate can be involved in your camping experience (it isn’t just for s’mores anymore!) . . . chocolate slip & slide, chocolate trivia, chocolate crafts, chocolate chip pancakes, chocolate covered goats – okay, maybe that IS taking it a bit far!
June 7-9 Trains & Plains Weekend
Celebrate the best of westward expansion at a fun and educational weekend focused on trains, mining and frontier life in Colorado! Play old fashioned games, learn about the unique historical sites right on the Jellystone property, and discover more about trains and their importance to us.
June 14-16 Yogi 500 / Father’s Day Weekend
Race on down to Jellystone this Father’s Day weekend for some unforgettable fun. Dads, put on your “good sport” hat and come prepared for some hilarious competitions (like our frozen t-shirt race or “decorate dad” contest). Paint a wooden car and zoom it down our track or see if you can beat dad in a pedal cart derby or a game of horseshoes. Dads enjoy our pancake breakfast for free on Sunday!
June 21-23 Rock & Roll Weekend
Break out your poodle skirts, turn up the 50′s & 60′s music and come prepared to dance with Yogi! Enjoy a Yogi style malt at our old fashioned soda shoppe. The rockin’ doesn’t stop there, we will be exploring the wonders of geology and rock collecting, too. Don’t miss it!
June 28-30 Pirates and Treasures Weekend
Avast ye hearties! Shiver me timbers! Join us for a swashbuckling good time walking the plank, competing in peg leg races & making eye patches. Wear your best pirate garb and compete for a prize! Learn about the Colorado gold rush and search for buried treasure, pirate style!
July 5-7 Wet & Wild, Slip, Slidin’ & Splashin’ Weekend
If you want to stay dry, stay home this weekend! We’ll be keeping our cool this Independence Day weekend with plenty of water activities . . . water wars, water balloon fights, slip & slide, splash rockets & pool games – need we say more?! Don’t forget your swimsuit!
July 12-14 Christmas In July Weekend
Deck the halls with pic-a-nic baskets, fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la! Step away from the heat and dream some Christmas dreams, Yogi style. Deck out your campsite or your golf cart and compete in our contest! Paint a Christmas ornament, decorate a “Christmas in July” cookie, make a snow globe, enjoy our snowy slip n’ slide and lots more!
July 19-21 Family Fun / Yogi’s Birthday Weekend
Family is forever. Bring your family, bring your friends, bring THEIR family too! . . . and prepare to engage in some family friendly competitions this action packed weekend (like family dodge ball, tug of war, sack races and more). Beware, you might just laugh until your sides hurt, but the memories you take home will last forever. In keeping with family celebrations, we’re also planning a surprise party to celebrate Yogi’s birthday . . . shhhh!
July 26-28 Magical Mardi Gras Weekend
We’re rolling out the fun, Mardi Gras style! Decorate your golf cart for our Mardi Gras parade (prizes awarded!), play carnival games and even sample some authentic Cajun cooking for free! We’ll add to the magic with a magic show & workshop so you can put some new tricks up your sleeve!
Aug 2-4 Jellystone’s Got Talent Weekend
Break out your talent, clean up your act, grab a microphone and get ready to “wow” us at our Jellystone’s Got Talent Weekend! Come Dance with Yogi (under the stars!). If the big stage is not your happy place, strut your stuff in our “Are you Smarter than the Average Bear” competition!
Aug 9-11 Spectacular Space Weekend
Come wish upon a star with Yogi! Keep your eye on the night sky and you may just catch a glimpse of the Perseid Meteor showers. Enjoy a weekend of star gazing, building and launching model rockets, and exploring the wonders of the stars, planets and outer space!
Aug 16-18 Cowboys, Cattle Ropin’ & Horsin’ Around
Howdy pardner! Come on down to Jellystone for a boot scootin, root tootin good time! Try your hand at steer roping, color a bandana, jump on one of our hay rides, join our six-gun water fight, enter our seed spitting contest, sign up for a horse ride and learn the basics of square dancing! Don’t forget your cowboy boots!
Aug 23-25 Bingo Extravaganza / Pajama Party Weekend
Pillow fight anyone?! Grab your coolest pajamas and silliest slippers and you may just win a prize. Color a Jellystone pillowcase at craft time, play games in your pj’s (and no one will even stop and stare!) . . . and don’t forget bingo ~ bingo, bingo and more bingo! Play for candy bars, unique prizes and most importantly, just for the fun of it!
Aug 30-Sep 1 Jellystone Olympics / Labor Day Weekend
Summer may be ending, but the fun is just beginning at Jellystone this weekend!
Competitions abound throughout the campground! Enter to win a Yogi medal in the pic-a-nic basket dash, hula hoop contest, pool relay, playground obstacle course, water balloon shot put, pedal car races, ice block bobsledding and more! Not enough energy for all of that?! – we’ll be hosting another episode of “Are you Smarter than the Average Bear” also! Don’t forget to visit our gift shop for our end of season sale!
Sep 6-8 Grandparents / Heritage Weekend
Share a weekend making memories with your Grandchildren! (Grandkids stay for free with you this weekend! Kids, play “Remember When” against your grandparents and make them a Grandparent’s Day card. Prizes for the grandparent who has the most grandchildren camping with them! Celebrate Grandparents Day with a free pancake breakfast on Sunday (come to the pancake wagon with your grandchildren or at least a walletful of cute pictures!).
Sep 13-15 Hooray for Heroes Weekend
Help us honor our military and first responders this weekend. We’ll be making care packages for soldiers. Engage in a water war, enjoy a visit from the local fire department (hopefully!) and explore a fire truck up close. Try your skills at our Jellystone Training Academy obstacle course, play “Dodge the Enemy” and Capture the Flag. Military, Firemen, EMT’s and Police Officers enjoy free pancake breakfast this weekend. Last chance to enjoy the pool before it closes!
Sep 20-22 Furry Friend Frenzy Weekend
It’s all about the four legged furry fellas this weekend! Bring your furry friend along and enter him/her in our contest – awards for the best pet trick & the best dressed pet! Make a homemade dog treat at craft time, join our party at the bark park and let your pooch enjoy a swim at our end of season pooch plunge! Don’t forget our pet parade! Learn more about the (large, black) furry friends who live alongside our campground at our “Bear Necessities” class!
Sep 27-29, Oct 4-6, Oct 11-13, Oct 18-20, Oct 25-27 ~ Halloween Weekends
Enjoy FIVE consecutive weekends of Halloween fun! Bring your little goblins and their costumes too. Decorate your site, decorate your golf cart, compete in our costume contest! Trick or treat from site to site, venture up our trail of fright, enjoy a haunted hay-ride (or volunteer to scare the costume off of other campers!)
